Kutaura's garments are manufactured in the heartlands of Africa using hand picked cotton grown on the plains in the open wilderness of Africa. The 100% pure combed cotton used to produce quality garments represents the texture of the flowing savana grasslands covering the African continent.


Production Information
Major Products We manufacture T-Shirts and Golf-Shirts for Men, Ladies and Children. We produce a wide variety of garments with prints and embroideries that can be seen from our samples on this website. All our products are made from Zimbabwean grown and processed cottons - and thus qualify for duty free exports into Europe under the Lome Convention. Production Capacity Our production capacity is between 180 000 – 200 000 T-shirts and golf shirts per month – depending on style. Delivery Lead Time Between 3 weeks and 8 weeks from date of confirmed order depending on style. Machinery We knit our own fabrics using Mayer and Pai Lung 24 gauge and 28 gauge knitting machines. Dyeing Our fabrics are dyed with dyeing machines from, Scholl and Thies and finishing is done with machines from Bruckner and San-Tex. These machines enable us to supply low shrinkage, colorfast and stable fabrics. Embroidery We use the latest computerized machinery from Tajima & Feiya Group Co. Stitching Stitching is done with the latest machinery from Pegasus, Juki and Rimoldi. Screen Printing Screen Printing is done on a 14-color electronic carousal screen-printing machine. Prices Our prices are very competitive – because we use local Zimbabwean processed raw materials. Prices quoted on request. Minimum Order Our minimum order quantities are 1000 pieces per colour. Quality Standards and Control We attach great importance to quality standards and therefore conduct regular training sessions for our machine operators, supervisors and managers. We also put our procedures in writing and follow customers’ inspection guidelines.
For quality control, we use a system that ensures consistently high quality merchandise for our customers. Yarn is continuously monitored to ensure that it is according to specifications required for knitted fabrics especially with regards to spirality. Only medium and long staple yarns are used with the correct twist. Knitting is continuously monitored to ensure correct stitch lengths – and fabric flaws are kept to a minimum through statistical quality control. At dyeing, each process from dyeing, squeezing, drying and calendaring set standards which are continuously monitored. Shrinkage, spirality, colourfastness and colour matching is done on every batch that is produced. At manufacturing all fabrics are inspected and tested, quality control starts from cutting during production and finally after the garments have been produced and everything has been defined and we work on AQL standards which are internationally recognized. PACKAGING / MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION We package goods in any manner required by the customer. Goods can be shipped by air, road or by sea. TERMS OF DELIVERY We can offer FOB /C & F/ OR CIF. DELIVERY TIME FOR SAMPLES Samples are made according to specifications supplied and delivery time for samples is between 5 days and 10 days from date of request.
